We really need to work on your money skills. You got $10.00 from Aunt Jessica for your birthday and you immediately spent $5 of it on a car at Broulims. You have kept the other $5 in a bank, but today, you decided you wanted to spend it and asked me to take you to Wal-mart. All the toys you wanted at were in the $20 range. So, I tried to explain to you that if you saved your money, you would be able to buy a $20 toy, but it would take a while. But, you wanted to buy something right then and there. So, I started showing you toys that were $5 and under, you grabbed the first one and said you were ready. No matter how much I tried to get you to change your mind and help you understand the power of saving money, I couldn't get through to you! You definitely get that from your dad!
You are so good at riding your bike, that there is now way I can keep up with you and I have to keep yelling at you to stop and slow down. When we rode bikes to the park to play, you were pretty upset that I wouldn't let you follow John in riding your bike around the park. When I told you that you had to ride your bike right in front of me while I played with Connor on the jungle gym, you became very sad and told me that that you would be very careful! Sorry, buddy! Not until you are a LOT older!
